CAT tools are used to maximize production, to ensure that sentences or phrases that have been translated previously are automatically translated the same way, if the context is identical. The best CAT tool for any given project depends on the format of the text and the type of text. For example, Passolo was especially developed for the translation of software strings (e.g. for user interfaces) and Sisulizer is intended for use with software strings and HTML-formatted Help files.
